Levulinic Acid

Levulinic acid, also known as Acetylpropionic acid;Fructose acid.This product is mainly used as raw material or the manufacture of resins, medicines, fragrances andcoatings. In the pharmaceutical industry, its calcium salts can be made into intravenous injections and indomethacin.Its lower esters can be used as food flavors and tobacco flavors. The bisphenol acid produced by this product canproduce water-soluble resin, which can be used in the paper industry to produce filter paper. It can also be used to make pesticides,dyes and surfactants. It is also used asan extraction and separation agent for aromatic compounds.
